Experience Island Adventure with Aruba Shore Excursions

If you're planning a cruise vacation to the Caribbean, why not enjoy a little adventure off the boat? Aruba is an extremely popular tourist destination, and Aruba shore excursions are a great way to explore this island paradise. Although the island is small in size, it makes up for it in luxury, fun and excitement. Aruba is truly a paradise, and features warm, temperate weather year round and friendly locals waiting to welcome you.

While it's true that a cruise ship is like a floating resort, you can't beat the fun and excitement of exploring Aruba up close and in person. You'll get to see and do things that you just cannot do on the boat! There are many different Aruba shore excursions available, depending on the cruise line and package you choose.

For example, you can explore the island on foot with a knowledgeable local guide that knows all the best places to visit. Stroll through Aruba's gorgeous national park and see the sights. Or, why not take a leisurely horseback ride down the beach? If you're an underwater explorer, there are opportunities for scuba diving, snorkeling, and a fun new cross between the two called snuba.

For the more adventurous, there's parasailing and Harley Davidson rental. Do you love to shop? Spend your time off the cruise ship loading up on goodies from Aruba's many stores. Maybe you'd like to frolic on a white, sandy beach looking out on crystalline blue water. If so, then Aruba is a great place to do it!

There are also fishing excursions, Jeep adventures, and golfing trips. Rent an ATV and go cruising, or try a little kayaking. Go on a fun sailing excursion or learn to windsurf. Visit some museums for a little local culture, or go dancing at one of the many clubs or lounges. Most anything you can think of to do on vacation can be found in Aruba!

While shore excursions aren't usually covered in the cost of your cruise, they're definitely worth the extra money. It's like getting two vacations at the same time -- the one on the cruise ship, and the one in Aruba!
